Temperature

The Temperature panel shows readings from a connected Bluetooth temperature sensor. You can show/hide it with T key after a sensor has been configured.

Connect a sensor

Open Settings -> Temperature and click Connect sensor. Select a compatible sensor in the browser’s Bluetooth device chooser. The Temperature panel and its entry in the Data menu become available after a successful connection.

The settings page shows the connection status, sensor name, temperature, reporting mode, reporting interval and time of the last reading. It also provides Disconnect and Forget sensor controls.

Read the panel

• Temperature shows the latest reading in degrees Celsius, rounded to one decimal place.
• Received shows how many seconds have passed since the last reading.

Fields show --- until a reading is available. Check the Received field to see how recent the displayed temperature is.

If a configured sensor is disconnected, use the thermometer button in the panel to connect again. Forgetting the sensor in Settings removes the Temperature panel until a sensor is configured again.
